Success for All Conference

Creating a Nurturing Culture in Schools

GwE will be holding a Conference for:

  • Senior Managers within Schools and PRUs
  • Designated Teachers/Staff who work with Looked After Children/or are responsible for Wellbeing
  • Local Authority Looked After Children’s Coordinators / ALN / Inclusion Senior Managers.
  • Third Sector and key partners within the area of Children/ young people’s Wellbeing.

The aim of the conference is to raise awareness of the key themes emerging in wellbeing in terms of supporting looked after children/vulnerable learners and links with raising achievements.

Key Note Speakers:

Sir John Timpson, CBE – Chief Executive of the Timpson Group who, together with his late wife Alex, fostered over 90 children is responsible for developing the Attachment Programme for Schools, having passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

Professor Sally Holland – Children’s Commissioner for Wales.

Workshops:

There will be 10 workshops that cover the key themes within the Wellbeing of children and young people.

Exhibitor Area

There will also be the opportunity for you to network with a range of agencies/providers that offer support and provision within the area of wellbeing to schools and local authorities – in terms of using the PDG for LAC or FSM.
