Developing creativity through outdoor learning [TAs – Welsh]

Suitable for: Foundation Phase Teaching Assistants (half day workshop)

• Foundation Phase practitioners to be offered a half day workshop to share ideas on how to develop pupils creative and key skills through effective outdoor learning in an outdoor setting.

The workshop will focus on:

• Guidance and ideas on how to develop creative skills across all areas of learning in the outdoors.
• Encourage pupils to use the higher order thinking skills to be creative and critical thinkers through outdoor learning.
• Promoting well-being and physical development through outdoor activities.
• Understand the role of the adult in facilitating effective learning and making purposeful observations outdoors.
• Practitioners working collaboratively on a group/individual task to share with all attendees.
