New Regional HR Policies for Schools
New regionally developed HR policies and procedures have been launched this term and are now the model policies recommended for all North Wales Schools to adopt.
The new policies cover Disciplinary, Dignity at Work and Grievance and have been developed by the 6 Authorities’ Education HR Network in partnership with the recognised trade unions at a regional level. These have been developed to ensure they reflect the latest best practice, ACAS guidance, up to date employment legislation and Welsh Guidance and staffing regulations where these are applicable. Due to the new approach taken to consultation and agreement at a regional level, Schools can easily adopt them for their future use.
The Education HR network is continuing to work with the Regional Trade Unions to review other HR policies, and further details will follow when they are launched.
