Royal Society and British Academy report on UK education research praises GwE’s work with schools

A recent report published by the Royal Society, developed in collaboration with the British Academy, assesses the current state of educational research and sets out an ambitious vision for the future. The report assesses the current state of educational research in the UK and its roles within the broader education ecosystem. It considers the flows of people, funding and information through the UK education system, and references GwE’s important partnership working with the Collaborative Institute for Education Research, Evidence and impact (CIEREI, Bangor University) and Warwick University in helping teachers ‘improve their own knowledge of research and skills in enquiry, and potentially learn new ideas and practices to improve their teaching’.
