National Reading and Numeracy Tests Support Package 2016.

Welsh Government has changed the way in which they provide financial support for the administration of the National Reading and Numeracy Tests is provided. As was indicated in March 2015, and has been stated in several issues of DYSG since then, the Reading and Numeracy Test Support Grant (RNTSG) has been amalgamated into the new Education Improvement Grant for Schools (EIG).

This means support for the administration of the National Tests is available to schools through the EIG. The EIG can be used to support activities or services directly connected to the delivery of the National Reading and Numeracy Tests, for example, employment of persons to administer, mark invigilate or enter data or the provision of supply cover.
