AHDP – Aspiring Headteachers Development Programme
This development programme is for senior leaders who are working towards a permanent headship role but who do not have the formal responsibility of the role at present. The programme will adopt cross-phase methods allowing all participants to understand, appreciate, share and collaborate with colleagues across the region.
The programme will:
- Support and extend the leadership development of senior staff in schools
- Identify and develop further those staff members who are considering moving towards headship in the next five years
- Develop the staff member’s leadership skills, as well as the school’s leadership capacity
